Renaissance University is located in Ugbawka (off Enugu-Port Harcourt Express Road en route Ebonyi State) in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State. The campus can be reached within 30 minutes by road from Enugu. About an hour from Abia State University, Uturu, Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki and University of Nigeria, Nsukka, some two hours drive from Aba and two and a half hours drive from Port Harcourt. Since all these towns are University towns, Renaissance University stands to benefit immensely from social and academic linkages with the various Universities. Meanwhile, Agbani the nearest town to Renaissance University is gradually growing cosmopolitan as a result of the presence of many secondary schools, a campus of the Nigerian Law School and the headquarters of a Local Government.
